Important Question (related to UCSB)?

SAT and SAT Subject Tests, or ACT

on a website i found that is what it says in due by Jan 1 for UCSB. Does this mean if i submit my ACT, i do not need to do SAT IIs?

For UC's, you need SAT II's, even with the ACT.

and the SAT IIs are due on Jan 1 right, just like SAT/ACT?
(the app is due nov 30 i know)

Yes, but you'll be sending the SAT IIs with the SAT I believe on the same form. ACT only waived SAT Reasoning, not SAT IIs.

If you put your ACT scores on your application and not your SAT scores UC's will use your ACT scores. When you send in your SAT11's it is true that your SAT 1 scores will be included in the report as well, but if you did not use those scores on your application the UC's will ignore them. They use the scores you self report and only use official scores to verify that what you self reported was accurate.
