on the common app + jhu supp. , there are no places for AP scores... but for the JHU online, there is.... why?

The Common Application is just that, a Common Application! All schools that accept common application must agree on what content is included in that application. Some schools do not see the necessity of AP scores on the common app., so it is not included.

The JHU Application is our own personal app and we can ask what ever we want. AP exams is listed in the test section so that we can note in advance for the academic advising offices which enrolling students will most likely be submitting AP scores. Since the data is self-reported, the Admissions committee will not review this information.

Not sure why this is an "important question"???
