Important Question!

I want to apply early to some schools and with the Early Action deadlines all pretty much at or right after November 1st, I wanted to know if it was possible for me to take the Oct 9th SAT and use those scores to send to colleges. Like can I send in my application and have those score sent afterwards if I like them? I'm taking the sept 11th ACT as well (I got a 32 but I want a better score, I think I can do well on the SAT even though last time I did awful). Will these colleges begin reviewing applications right away?

If it helps I want to apply early to North Carolina (Nov 2) and Michigan (Nov 1).

Anyone got an answer?

All colleges with a Nov 1 EA or ED application date take the the Oct SAT even though it might arrive after you submit application. Majority of those colleges even take Nov SATs for EA or ED. You should check colleges’ sites for ones you are applying to because they all say which test score is the last one they accept. For ones that take only through Oct, it is better not to wait until after score comes out to send but instead include college as one of those to receive the score on your application for the test. In fact, Mich says that is what you should do if submitting Oct test.
