I'll be visiting Bowdoin and Bates this summer before I start senior year. Should I do interviews assuming that I plan to apply there, or should I wait and maybe do an alumni interview later? When exactly do most people do their interviews? Someone please help me!!!

If you have the opportunity to do an on-campus interview, then do it! It's the admissions reps who will be debating your application, not the alumni, so if you are memorable (in a good way), it could help.

sounds good...and it's okay to do an interview even if there's a chance I might not apply? The chance is more slim-to-none, so I think I'll just go ahead and arrange it.

If you're going to be on campus anyway, no reason not to do an interview. Just make sure you're informed about the school before hand and can talk about why you're interested in it and answer questions to that regard.

ok, thanks guys!

Quick questions, when colleges ask questions along the lines of "Why should we accept you" & "What interests you about <insert college="" here="">?", what do you say?</insert>
