<p>Well I must admit, it is a of a lot of work, and so much writing!! Anyone else, especially those applying to the unforsaken ten to fifteen schools.</p>
<p>^Im applying to 10 schools; I haven’t started on any apps lol but im doing all RD so i have a TON of time.</p>
<p>^ A ton is an exaggeration lol. Senior year is hectic especially if you’re taking 3+ APs. You might want to use the summer to get a head start on your essays. With homework piling up, the first few days of school can easily turn into months!</p>
<p>Well im taking 3 AP’s overall but since i have block scheduling, i only have 2 AP’s the first semester (from sept.-jan) and the third one second semester, after college apps are done. So it wont be THATTT!! bad</p>

<p>It’s certainly a pain in the ass, I still have to increase my SAT score and then take an additional subject test in physics for Columbia >.<</p>
<p>Ehh, get started ASAP. You don’t want to have apps looming over your head first semester. Any relaxation time you have will be tainted by thoughts of “I really should get started on those apps.” Besides which, the time it takes to revise essays to get them to say exactly what you want and need them to say can’t be condensed. You need distance from your ideas to make them clear.</p>
<p>I’m applying to 4 schools EA: 2 safeties, 1 match and 1 reach. Maybe I’ll add one other reach, but that’s it.</p>
<p>I love writing, so I’m having a lot of fun with the essays. But I’m really not looking forward to securing recommendation letters (one is already done and the other is certain, but I still have to ask for the old one, submit evaluation forms, etc.), filling out financial aid applications and dealing with my school transcript and GC.</p>
<p>Think of what it was like before the Common App when you had to fill out individual applications using a type writer (ask your parents).</p>

<p>I just finished my apps and sup material for my top three schools. Only need the school reports and recs now :)</p>
<p>Unfortunately, I doubt I will be admitted early to my first choice. Hope this is worth it!</p>
