IMPORTANT: U of Florida SSTP or Michigan State HSHSP?

<p>Hello,
I am a junior looking for a science research program.
Through a blog on MIT, I have found the University of FLorida SSTP program and the Michigan State HSHSP.
SSTP says it accepts up to 100 people, but from what i have found, it seems like they pair each student with a different research mentor.
HSHSP only accepts 24... does this mean it's more prestigious?
I have a friend who went to HSHSP, but I'm not sure if it's more selective or more prestigious than SSTP.
Any thoughts?</p>
