please, someone help me!

Decent chance but I wouldn’t be surprised if you get rejected its a crapshoot anyway.

Also know that the nyl forums don’t really matter at all in admissions you might be better served saving that money for something more useful.

how can I make this better? would a 2400 sat help?

No, it wouldn’t. There is no “formula” to getting into Columbia unless you have a MAJOR hook (talking about national awards, national recognition, etc). You’re a solid applicant but there are many applicants like you that it’s almost random who get’s in and who doesn’t at this point.

I know, Columbia would be a fantastic college to go to, but there are plenty of other great schools out there.

what if I get my book published? I’m currently working on it and I am hoping I can publish it by this fall! I am already published in my school.

Ok talk to me when your novel actually hits the bookstores.

^I will, thanks dude.

Looks like you have a good shot at it. Great test scores and plenty of APs (though I don’t know what your scores are, I’m assuming all or mostly 4s and 5s). UWGPA is a little low, but likely a great WGPA with that many APs. ECs look good, although I’m a bad judge and it’s so subjective as to what’s “good” when it comes to that. A published book would be awesome of course. All in all, looks like you have a good shot. When it comes to a school like Columbia it can be really arbitrary, though. Best of luck! =D

Thank you, and you too!
