OK, so..
I'm currently a junior at an average public high school in north east pennsylvania. i have a few questions reguarding the sat.

1) I'm 99% sure I am going to take the December 2 SAT. I have been advised to take the January 27 (basically Febuary) also. My school pushes juniors to take one or two of the March/April/May/June test...for me possibly April or June. Finally that leaves me with the guaranteed October 07 test, and possibly a December 07. As far as colleges are concerned, does it matter which month i take the sat in (e.g. would they perfer i got my highest score on the oct 07 test opposed to the december 07 test) ? Let's say i take the sats 5 official times. Would colleges look down upon me for taking them so many times? Finally how does kaplan's sat test fare in comparison with college board's...I've taken kaplan's c.r. and writing sections the past week in school for sat prep class, and i received a 640 cr and a 670 writing...is it proper for me to expect at least 600s in those two sections? btw, i am aiming for an 1800*, or better (if possible).

They don't care when you take the test, as long as your scores are in on time for their deadlines. So take it when you're ready to get your best score. It's a waste of time and money to take it more than you need to.

thanks for the advice...do colleges care how many times u take it? ive heard that they dont care, but ive also heard that if you take it more than three times they only count the first three times...do u know if there is any correllation between kaplan's sat and the actual college board's?
