My oldest’s experience was pretty similar. In the good classes, there was so much good, on-topic discussion the prof could’ve left the room. In others, “honors” was just a designation that meant extra work, and not necessarily meaningful extra work. She didn’t think the extra requirements for the honors program were with the investment of her time.
