Impressions from ADOCH

transnational -- thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'd definitely agree that everyone you meet at ADOCH is a little nervous and trying to feel each other out, so it might be a little hard to get a sense of what kids are really like. I hope you end up loving it as much as I do!

I'm sad i just discovered this thread, i could have used it a bit ago. I wasn't crazy about adoch - again, i just didnt click with brown the way i wanted to and the way i did with harvard at its visiting weekend. Based off of that, i was like "i should go to harvard!" but then i felt really stupid basing my decision on basically TWO days of awkward activities. There are so many little factors that change my perspective on things that I just thought it wasn't fair (and actually very risky) to choose harvard because of some impression i had that could completely misguided. I just fell back on the hard facts comparing the two schools, and brown won. I'm still a little nervous about it cause everyone always says "go with your gut!" I'm pretty sure i made the right call, though, and brown's big enough that i'll certainly fit in somewhere :-). i hope.
