Did anyone go to Princeton this month, but not during the "prefrosh weekend" of April 14-16? I'm on my way back from my overnight...I was surprised by how many people asked me "hey, is there another prefrosh weekend going on? wave 2?"--it was most amusing. other than that, I rediscovered how much I love the place...(the food rocks)...the weather held up, the students were friendly, and firestone library is amazing...

When you were there? I was just there Wed./Thurs.

I agree with all of your statements. The students were especially friendly and talkative. Each one of them encouraged me to go there. The food was definitely awesome. At the Forbes House, they had a special dinner for alumni. There was all kinds of food and deserts. Also, there was a dodgeball tourney occurring at Dillon: fun stuff. Ben Folds played yesterday. The classes seemed interesting. Etc. Wow... I think me being one of the few pre-frosh there made my visit even better.

just out of curiosity, what was your impression of the diversity (or harmony w/e) of the campus? I'm talking specifically about African American students.........
My interviewer told me some things, and I just wanted to get other opinions.........

hey e_l, I was there thurs/fri..missed dodgeball, but saw paul rusasebagina...

the food at frist was great, and all the old conservative/white elitist stereotypes completely untrue. I did, however, notice a rather...stunted...social atmosphere (not just cuz they outsource their socializing from the dorms to prospect street)--it was somewhat cliquish, and people weren't too inclined to traverse outside their social circlies. but that's probably true in any college.
