<p>Anyone else take to the streets after the election results were announced? We noticed the hordes of people heading towards the capitol and decided to go ourselves around 11:50. So glad I did-it was inspiring to see that many people (some sources say almost 3000) celebrating Obama's win. After waiting with the crowd at the capitol for a bit, we marched down state street and ended at Bascom where a huge crowd gathered. I got home around 1 but am pretty sure people were at Bascom much later than that. Check out the Badger Herald for photos-I thought they covered it very well.</p>
<p>I still can't get over the fact that it truly was impromptu. Such a crazy, unforgettable night.</p>
