i'm taking the june 7th sat and hoping to do much better than i did last time. math is one of my favorite subjects and i was surprised when i scored so poorly on it in may. i'm really hoping to improve my score on this test and i was just wondering if anyone has any advice on last minute things to study... i've completed the blue book which helped me realize some of my errors but i still don't feel as confident as i want to...any help from someone who got a good score would be appreciated

Do you go through your incorrect answers and write a short description on why you got it wrong? If not, I suggest you start to do so for it is the best way to not repeat the same mistake. This might be overly meticulous but trust me it works. I got a 2240 on my SAT and 800 on SAT 2 Math IIC. Also the only way to improve in math is to solve as many problems as possible.
Good luck this week!
I have a bio and us history test. So we're on the same boat!

do as many problems as possible

do well in math classes

I consider myself very good at math. However, I scored 750 instead of the perfect 800 I thought I would get back in Oct 07. I realized that all the mistakes I make are careless, and I suggest you be meticulous about reading the problem and making sure you KNOW what they are asking.

Collegeboard is sneaky and tries to trap us. Beat them at their own game; it's rewarding :)

i usually get 2-3 wrong in math and it annoys me so much because most are careless or that i wasn't thinking "correctly" at the time.

or (very rarely) i get them wrong b/c i don't know the stuff. Like cubes and geometric shapes usually trick me up
