Improve My Rank?

I need help improving my rank. I think I am currently rank 4 (I want to be top 2) and I have a 99.3705 average. Here are my grades so far. Any tips would be appreciated.

MP3: (Hasn’t finished by what I have mid-quarter)

You’re smart enough to know how to do this on your own. Get higher grades.
The truth is, it doesn’t really matter at this point, so don’t drive yourself crazy.

Would taking honors and AP affect your class rank? I know that is the determining factor at my school, while grades definitely play a part too.

Yeah Honors class boost 5 points and AP Boost 10; my school only allows you to take an AP for elective. Junior year, I can start taking in my core classes.

My guidance counselor said that this year my course is ‘Most Rigorous’ because I am finishing all my requirements. Next year I will be taking AP ComSci and all rest honors classes.

Being number 2 and number 4 aren’t very different considering they are both great ranks. At this point you should be focusing on your extracurriculars because college won’t accept or reject you for something that insignificant.
