Improve PSAT by 20~ points

Must be annoying seeing like the 305803927285096th post on whether so-and-so can increase scores.

So yeah, my apologies.

Anyway, I need to improve my 200 to a 220.

What are some tips?

Breakdown:
CR: 65
W: 60
M: 75

I'm a rising junior. I will be taking the psat this coming fall

I stated that in another forum similar to this one is to “Study, study, study and guess what more studying! Get a PSAT book. As of right now I am using the book entitled Princeton Review or otherwise Known as (PR). PR is extremely candid and lucid for anyone who pick up the book. Lastly, start studying know if your aiming for NMSQT if not I guess to just wait for your prep class”. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1373372-improving-psat-score-50-a.html

I think just a year in between helps a lot. All three of my kids took the PSAT as a sophomore and then as a junior and all three had scores that increased exactly 30 pts.

Well I already increased 30 points from last year to now…

:p

For writing, look up grammar rules and MEMORIZE them. You can easily bump your score up to 75+. For CR, memorize vocabulary and mainly just practice. In math, I trust that you can get 80 if you slow down and make sure you’re doing all the work correctly.

Any recommendations on books?
