improve score 2-4 points

I just got my ACT results and I got a 27 overall. Most of you guys here are 30+ scorers and I want to get in that 29-31 range like you guys. Can you give me some tips, strategies, and whatever will help me out for the upcoming September test? Thanks

Just saying, you shouldn’t want to improve your score to fit in here. You should want to improve your score because you want to do better on the test for yourself. If you have the attitude of “I need to compete with the anonymous people whom I’ll never know in real life on CC”, then it’ll be that much harder for you to achieve your goal because you aren’t doing it for yourself.

Haha not even man. I’m just trying to say that most people here get 30+ scores and I think they can give me some extra pointers, and yes I want to do better for myself and get some scholarships. I also think I am capable of increasing my score too.

Can someone give me some pointers?!?

Buy prep books and do practice tests…This is pretty much the only way to improve your score via knowledge rather than luck

Also, the more real tests you take, the better your score will be as you learn the ways of the ACT

Best of Luck!
