<p>Hey guys :). This is my first post on here and I need some help/tips. I took the ACT in October and December. I made a 26 and 28 respectively.
In December I received a
English : 29, Usage/Mechanics - 16, Rhetorical Skills - 15
Math : 21, PreAlg/Elem Alg - 13 , Alg/Coord Geom - 09. Plan Geom/Trig- 11
Reading: 29, Social Sciences- 16, Arts/Literature - 14
Science - 31.</p>

<p>I really want to improve my scores. I am very happy with the science one because I feel like that was the best I will ever do on the science portion. I felt like I understood every question and I only had to guess on the last 4-5 due to time constraints.
I really want to improve my Math overall score. All my math classes in high school have been jokes because the teachers do not want to teach it.
What are the best programs/ways for me to improve my scores? I have 1 hour everyday after school to study.
I will love whoever recommends programs and I will inform you all of my next score!!</p>

<p>Practice… that’s really all. You have to study and take the practice tests… practice makes perfect</p>

<p>With respect to math, I honestly think finding a tutor or a coach may be in your best interest. If your school teachers do not teach well, you need somebody to spend time with you to go over and reinforce the concepts that you will need to do well on the ACT Math.</p>

<p>I say this just because the ACT likes the change how they present their math problems on different tests, and having a strong foundation is the best way to guarantee consistency across exams.</p>
