Improvement

Hi
I was wondering if the admissions office take improvement (GPA)
into account when they check your applications…
Because I really slacked off when I was a Freshmen…
Also I heard that maintaining your grades during sports season is another
factor that the admissions office take into consideration,…

Anybody??

Yes, the upward trend is always a good thing to an adcom's eyes. The whole being involed with the sports/ other ec's and maintaining a high gpa is a norm for upper level universites, so that won't help. Some schools, also, don't look at freshmen grades, so it depends on where you apply.

-Jerod

which top 50 schools do not look at frshman grades?

i heard that U Mich is one of them...but I'm not sure...maybe not

The UC system Berkely and all does not look at freshman grades.

Stanford might be another.
Any others?????
