I'm a junior and will be taking the SAT my first time as a junior in January 2013 (I've taken it once in the 7th and 8th grade before). Anyways, I've been studying for the test (which is actually quite hard, considering it's winter break). I'm really strong in the math section, I can consistently earn above 720's at least, and the writing section seems pretty good. I can write a strong enough essay, so probably 700+ I would hope. It's the CR section that gets me! I can't get past the 650-690 score range. I did a lot of practice for the PSAT, and I still never got into the 70's. Is it just more practice that I need? I'm in AP Eng. Lang right now, so I'm guessing it might help, but I'm not sure. So far, studying has mainly been doing practice questions randomly and studying vocabulary words in context from the Barron's book.

Any tips for improving in the CR section? I have the Kaplan 2011 SAT book, the Barron's SAT 2012 book (which is where I'm getting vocab words from), the SAT blue book, and few other random resources. I'm really trying to aim above 2150, which I think is a good goal for me. We haven't gotten our PSAT scores back for some reason, but in practices I was finding it hard to break 200, but my last practice test was a 207. (like 2070 in SAT). Any help regarding any section would be appreciated no matter :-)

Thanks so much!!!! :-)
