So, my CR score on the SAT I wasn't where I'd like. I took the test on Oct 5th to make a benchmark to jump from before I retake the test in the spring (and I'll likely take the ACT in December then again in Spring as I have to take it through my school in the Spring to graduate). I know how to go at each of the other sections, W and M, more or less, but critical reading, I do not. I know that I need to read a lot more (Most of the reading I've been doing has been in German lately, so I think I'll going to be doing more reading in English). I'm going to actually read actively for AP Lang from now on, but what other kinds of works should I read? I just bought the Selected Writings of Karl Marx; I have some German history books in English and some American history books.

So I guess my main question is: Is there any specific kind of reading (or books in particular if you have suggestions) that someone should do to try and raise their CR score on the SAT?
