<p>I made a 580 on CR the last time I took the SAT, I need to raise it by at least 70 points. I was thinking about doing 3 CR sections a week until the day of the SAT (Nov 7). Assuming I make fair progress, does this seem like a realistic goal?</p>
<p>Certainly. I would also suggest you get an SAT vocabulary book or use the resources online to study vocab words.</p>
<p>70 points isn’t an unreasonable goal. Doing lots of practice questions is definitely the way to go. Make sure you’re analyzing the types of questions you’re missing on the practice tests, then come back to us if you need more specific help. Also, be sure you’re timing yourself on those practice sections so you’ll know if time is an issue for you.
