I have around 3 days until the PSAT, and I scored a 57 on the critical reading when I had previously been consistently scoring 68s. Most of the points I lost were due to not being able to finish the sections on time, and leaving 3-4 questions near the end blank. Is there anything I can do to improve my speed on critical reading sections? I tend to spend too much time thinking about questions. Before when I used to take 25 minute tests in 20 minutes, I found that I could go a lot faster than when I timed myself 25 minutes on this test and a few other ones. I just don't want to run out of time on the actual PSAT, when I will be given the whole 25 minutes. Is there anything I can do to improve my speed between today and Wednesday?

^I used to have that problem. What I do now is answer the questions while I’m reading the passage. Never finish a passage without having answered a majority of the questions. This doesn’t take too much practice because it’s just a technique. It helped me tremendously; I got a 69 this time and didn’t run out of time at all :)
