<p>Im taking the SATs for my second time on oct 4 and I really wanna increase my CR from a 580 to a 640ish. Is this possible? If so how would I go about doing it?

<p>60 points increase – What I recommend is to start reading books/articles NOW. Anything with challenging vocabulary/text in it. Highlight the vocabulary you don’t know, look it up, write it down. I would recommend Omnivore’s Dilemma<a href=“has%20a%20high%20number%20of%20SAT%20words%20in%20it%20and%20is%20a%20fairly%20interesting%20read”>/U</a>. </p>
<p>Read daily and ask yourself questions as you read through your book. Ask what the tone is? What is the purpose of the passage? What is the author implicating? etc etc.</p>
