Alright, my math score is only 480 as of right now (PSAT score). This score can really hold me back. I received a 720 on the critical reading section, and 680 on the writing. Are there any tips for boosting my math score? I'm taking the real SAT for the first time in a week. Math has always been hard for me (I'm currently taking Algebra II as a Junior).

Math is my worst section too. I got the big Barron’s SAT prep book and I’m going through all the math sections. They have great key facts that you can memorize. There are many examples. I really like the emphasis on structure and key facts in this book. It makes math make more sense. So I would recommend for you to get this book and read through/memorize/practice the math sections. But if you have a lot of other hw this week or you’re busy, I don’t know if you can fit it all in. You could just choose the sections that are hardest for you or the sections you know you can learn in a week. Good luck!

I took a prep class and used the college board book. If my score is still too low, I’ll pick up the barrons book. Thanks!
