<p>(1) In Los Angeles, California, painted on the side of a cement-lined flood channel, there is a mural. (2) This mural is called The Great Wall of Los Angeles, it is ten feet high and stretches for over a half mile. (3) Twenty-five artists designed The Wall's forty panels. (4) Over a period that spanned seven summers, they supervised the hundreds of teenagers from various communities in Los Angeles who painted the panels. (5) The project, inspired by the famous murals of Mexico City, was directed by artist Judith Baca. (6) Ms. Baca has been in charge of the work on the mural since it began in the 1970's.</p>

<p>Came down to D and E. But I ended up choosing the incorrect one. </p>

<p>What do you think is the correct answer and why?</p>

<p>I think I would view this question not just as which sentence should it be after, but which sentence should it come before. In this case, I think D is the answer because it makes sense that because the wall ends in the mid 50s Ms. Baca will want to bring it up to date. In my opinion this immediately makes E incorrect. It could be where it is now, but sentence 13 makes more sense before sentence 12. Sentence 13 also makes more sense after sentence 11.</p>

<p>I would go with D for the same reason as Satanxiety</p>

<p>Yeah, you’re right. I just figured out I misunderstood the last sentence. I thought Ms. Baca wanted to re-build the wall, and that Sentence 12 would fit after that, meaning that Ms. Baca’s hopes can’t be made real because the Wall ended. I know it doesn’t make sense, but whatever.</p>
