Improving Reading and Writing for international Students - Please Help

Hi I am an international student and I have sat on March 9 .
My first language isn’t English and I score 790-800 in math but, I have lots of problems on the English section of the test .
I can’t go higher than 660 And I want to improve like 80-90 points .I mark my wrong answers after the test and I try to answer them again (with out looking to the answers) and I get them right most of the time .(not under test conditions) What makes me frustrated is that no matter how hard I try I still get same types of questions wrong and then after the test I get them right. By the way I have 3 practice tests left and I have read Erica Meltzer’s books (Reading and Writing ),Barron’s new sat , and SAT prep black book

What should I do?

someone help please!

First, you should calm down. It’s just march. Apps aren’t due for a long time.

Second, it is hard to comment without knowing what types of questions you are getting wrong. One of the following seems to be the case: you don’t understand these question types when they come up, or you don’t understand the reading passages as well as you think you do. I recommend going back and looking at all the questions you got wrong. Identify the questions types and find a strategy for dealing with those question types.Don’t take more practice tests until you figure out how to answer those question types–doing otherwise would be wasting perfectly good practice tests (also when you do run out, there are a few more practice tests you can find on reddit).

Third, if you post on here what questions types you struggle with, along with some examples, I can give you more specific advice.

Hey! I am also an international student. I just started with my senior year. I took the SAT in December, got 1420 (800 Math and 620 EBRW), How can I improve on the reading and writing section? Please help. I am extremely baffled.

How do you do on practice tests? Do you tend to struggle more with writing than reading, with reading than writing, or with both similarly? Are there any types of problems in particular that you struggle with?
