Improving science, reading, and english scores on the act?

I am taking the ACT in 2 weeks, so I decided to buy the real ACT prep guide, and I've taken 2/5 of the tests already. On the first test I got:
English-26 Math-35 Reading-28 Science-28 Composite-29
I tried taking the second test to improve my scores but scored:
English-27 Math-32 Reading-28 Science-25 Composite-28.
Math isn't really a concern for me. (On the first test I missed one question, and that was because I bubbled in the wrong answer for a question. On the second I missed 5, and I felt really stupid because I bubbled in the wrong answer for 2 questions, misread one question, misread the answer for another.)

My main problem on the reading is that I can't get through with the passages in a reasonable amount of time while still comprehending.
For Science, it's primarily a timing thing, I never get through to the end of the section before time ends.
On the English portion, I don't get finished, but I also seem to miss a lot that I had the time to answer anyway.
I need to get a 30-32ish (although I wouldn't complain if I scored higher) on the December test in 2 weeks. Does anyone know of any way I could get better by then? (Strategies and tips would be greatly appreciated.) I'm planning on taking the other 3 tests before then btw.

For English, Don’t read the whole passage, read the question, read 2 lines before that line and 2 lines after that line, like this you will answer all questions while still comprehending the passage
