Improving

I took the SAT in June (first time) and received:
CR- 590
M-550
W-560, essay - 8

Rising senior

I'm planning to retake in October and would like to improve around 200 points. Is this a reasonable goal?
What can I do to make sure this improvement happens? (specifically)

So far, I'm doing the following:
CR- memorizing 1 set of voc. from Barron's high freq. voc. as well as about 10 roots/suffixes, doing practice exercises from Barron's CR Workbook, reading articles daily from Time/Newsweek and studying unknown vocab.
M- doing practice problems from Barron's and the Blue Book, going over strategies listed in Barron's
W- practice exercises from Barron's + Blue Book, 2 essays/week

Thanks for any suggestions!

For writing the advice from this older thread helped my daughter improve her score a lot:

I think wat ArtOfMind_21 is trying to say is, use ur time wisely and spend more time studying and less time on CC looking @ posts. :D
