in 8th grade; chances? (NCSSM)

I want to go to ncssm for sure. What are the chances? Im in district 13 wake county. Going to Enloe High school to be exact.

SAT: 2040 (7th grade one)

Atm my 8th grade courses set me up for these in 9th:

AP Calc AB and BC
AP Statistics
Honors Biology
Honors chem
C&C

10th grade:

ap psychology
ap calc 3
ap world history
ap biology
ap enviro
honors english 2
honors chinese 3

I also have mathcounts, amc, NHD, and sci oly rewards. I think I'll have the majority of my sister's club positions appointed to me also (shes pres of several clubs). I'm in the Enloe MBSA (got accepted in) so I'll probably get most of my hours done there.

I hope I can get in :( Residential in high school sounds fun.

If you got all A’s, 2300+ on the SAT, and showed them you’re a well rounded guy/girl. You’d be fine.

Btw, I go to Enloe too! I’m a sophomore right now though. :P

Also, it’s not just what classes you take. The classes you’re taking ARE fine though. But since you’ve said you’ve had a lot of EC’s, you’ll probably get in…can’t say for sure though…this years SSM admissions were weird.

I agree. The admissions were based purely off of Ranking OR SAT score.

No way !

800 math 620 reading/writing. I was disappointed when 2 ppl at my school got 21XX and 22XX.

Anyway whats my target SAT score for NCSSM?

You will probably get on without a problem. Although, SAT score is looked at very little when applying. Just get 100 points higher than your schools average.
