in any other case i would retake but...

i currently have a 1800 on my SAT I and i'm planning to take it again in november (taking SAT IIs in october), BUT the problem is i already took the SAT I three times. i've heard of the rumour that colleges would start averaging your scores if you take it beyond three times, is it true? or just a rumour?

i am aiming at UCs (ucla, ucb, ucd) by the way.

i thought that this would be my last chance and that i've got nothing to lose (except the 50 bucks for the exam fee haha) so i'd just give it one last try. i'm not sure if i can improve or not although i am going to study and practice hard over the summer.

will taking a fourth time give me any disadvantages for college admissions?

bump bump bump

UCs just take your highest composite score from one sitting. I don't know about other colleges, but the UC policy is quite simple and straightforward. Check their website.

take it again.
