fauve, good advice! skills to adjust is the key to success in many ways! d has failed with high stakes once before and the adjustment directly led to today…fingers crossed she doesn’t have to adjust this time.

controlling the outcome is not the issue on this one, it’s more like holding on to the Tiger by the tail…it’s a helluva ride! and bumpy sometimes. it’s a pull by her not a push by me.

backup schools are both fab, top 10. it’s the team and coach, that’s the prize.

Thanks for updating us. It is always good to hear how things turn out - especially when they work out the way you wanted. Congrats to you and your D.

I have looked this info for a long time. My son is applying a lot of D3 schools with RD. We will wait and compare FA offers. Thanks!

Congrats to you all and PHEW!

There are times when big disappointment occurs in the D1 and D1 recruiting process. I was shocked to learn a few years ago that a coach and school can withdraw a scholarship offer to a recruit for no good reason, leaving the recruit with no recourse. I saw an amazing discussion on this issue in college basketball wherein TV analysts and former coaches Billy Packer and Dick Vitale got into a heated argument. It’s a shame that colleges can do this in good conscience.

sounds like Inthebiz had a student-athlete. My compliments.
