well i go to an all-girls school, so the picking for guys is a little...nonexistent

Hotties in a class is rather a motivator for me. For example I had a couple nice looking girls in my history class this year and it was very pleasant for me to go to class.

And I took a Calc 3 class at a univ this summer and most people weighs twice as much as I do, so it wasn't as pleasant as I planned. There wasn't anyone good looking to look at so I did very poor in that class (not grade wise, I had an A ;)

.......................

Um. I don't consider a lot of people attractive. But my boyfriend is in some of my classes and he's adorable. (:

I don't think there's a really big difference in appearance between people in advanced classes and those in lower-level ones at my school. I think that my classes usually have more females than males, though.

I walk into a lower level class and it's like heaven.

Higher level classes there are maybe like one or two decent looking girls, and that's it.

When I had regular classes, there were hot guys everywhere! Muscular guys with huge biceps. Rocker dudes with awesome hair. Cool guys with great tastes in music. Preppies and skaters and fashionable geeks, everything. Then you walk into honors and it's like, ***? In honors, you pretty much figure out who you're going to like in the first two weeks, and then the pool dries up because if 6 or 7 out of your 7 classes are honors level you just see random mixes of the same 40 people, and all the good ones are taken. And everyone else is weird or just doesn't jive with you personality wise.
