In Common App forms; what # is this question <number of="" act="" scores="" you="" wish="" to="" report="" ?=""> asking for?

Is this asking for the # count of the test dates from which I am reporting my score? So example if I am reporting my science score from test date 1, and math from test date 2, and english from test date 3. Should I report 3 = Number of ACT scores you wish to report ?

Or is this the # count for the composite ?

I think # counts for composite as you cannot report separate section scores from different takes. Hope this helps. :slight_smile:

@ Godswift – Thanks for answering the question.

I beg to differ my understanding is that you CAN report separate sections from different takes. An applicant does not have to report all sections from the same take.
If you scored highest in Math in Take 1, you can report that on the Common App.
If you scored highest in Math in Take 2, you can report that on the Common App.

But ultimately, you will have to ask, ACT / SAT to send both Dates / Take (1 & 2) to the colleges.

For the SAT maybe, but not for the ACT I think.
