In Danger of Failing?

is it just me, or are other people as worried about their grades as i am? this whole college thing is a complete 180 from high school, i can't even begin to explain! i dunno, maybe im just anxious to get some grades under my belt to ease my worries...maybe its the relentless competitiveness of the student body, or maybe just a lack of structure...whatever it is, im scared :-(

i know you're out there, fellow "i'm gonna pee my pants" freshmen...unite!

pwease? :(

lo..tell me abt it. im worried as hell. ive got quizzes on monday that i shd be studying for but im here on cc. argh

Yeah, you've got to be on top of everything. Can't be deceived by all the free time you have. I'm a tiny bit nervous because I haven't been working very hard. But I'm ready to shift into full gear.

yea i got a test and project this week and i havent done crap....got a step up a few notches...

see, thats the problem...i dont have almost ANYTHING due till 2 months down the line...i want some grades under my belt, damnit! lol

maybe im needlessly worrying...i just really wanna do well

I understand the feeling as well. There's no more busy work/ freebie easy assignments to boost our grade anymore =</p>

Right...it all comes down to a couple of hours in the year that really determine your grade. I have labs and homework, all of which adds up to a few points. College grades are just test grades. You can feel good by doing tons of problems and letting readings sink in to the point that you can explain what you've learned so far at any moment of the day.

Man, I mistakened big time. Physics H7A is not easy at all. It's of a totally different level(we use the MIT Physics intro series).
The first homework problems were rather mathematical(spacial analytical vectors) than Physics. But the second set of problems is outrageous. It took me like 6 hrs to finish 10 problems.
And when I did, I felt so happy. This kind of happiness after finishing the homework is something I haven't felt for a long time.
Heeeeyyyyyyyy, Iiiitttttt 'ssssss Beeerrrkeeellleyyyy !!!!!!!!
Yeah, I love the challenge.
