In desperate need of advice. Scheduling conflict.

I am in need of advice...perhaps someone else here is or has been in this situation before...

My school has very inflexible scheduling, and I am in the midst of a huge scheduling conflict for the upcoming school year. I'll be a senior in high school and am looking to apply to some pretty competitive colleges in the fall. I am looking to focus in the math and science field (hopefully, I'll decide on exactly what major soon). Here, simplified, are my only two options:

Option 1:

Take AP Spanish IV (my fourth year of foreign language).

Option 2:

Take AP World History & AP Statistics.

Here's the rest of my course load for this year, if it helps:

Varsity Band
AP Calculus BC
AP English IV
AP Government
AP Economics

School starts Monday.

Thanks for your help!

I'll put in a vote for Spanish. You're already taking Government, and AP Stats has a reputation as a relatively lightweight course. Colleges like to see four years of language.

me too i recommend espanol.

I vote AP Spanish.

spanish......

Thank you everybody for your fast responses. You've convinced me that four years of language are the way to go (even if it means taking one less AP class).

Thanks again,
