About 30% of my HS is international (primarily from Japan, India, Singapore, and China). I was wondering how a student like me will be compared to them if we're applying to the same schools. Like, are they competing as international student within their country or "against" the people from the context of or school/ state (even though they are here on student visas) does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks :)

If you’re speaking of the most selective schools, those kids w/o green cards or US citizenship are in the worst pool – they compete against all other internationals. If you are a citizen or green card holder, then you’re in another, less competitive pool.
