I asked this question on the transfer forum but I think it got buried by all the acceptances starting to come out. My son is looking to transfer to Marshall from another major at USC. My question is do in house transfers receive any advantage in the trasnfer process since they have already been admitted to USC?

There seems to be a different application in hosue transfers fill out for Marshall right?

Yeah, the application really isn’t bad I believe. I think you just need to meet minimum requirements and you’re pretty much in. Not entirely sure what the requirements are now (since they changed their curriculum this past semester), but it use to be a 3.0 min GPA in Writ 140, the 2 lower division Econ classes, and Math 118 and 218.

I belieive the reqiuirements are GPA above a 3.3 and meeting all the pre req.s which he has. He has a 3.8 currently combined with his CC GPA so i hope he gets in. I was just hoping if he was already in USC it would help him.
