In Major Gpa NOT ON TRANSCRIPT?!

<p>I'm a CC student looking to transfer.</p>

<p>On my transcript it says:</p>

<p>Overall Cuml: Att: 3.79 gpa
AA Cum Program Att: 3.79 gpa</p>

<p>Now on my degree audit where i check my status of graduation it says:</p>

<p>GPA for this major: 3.83
AA MDC cUM GPA: 3.79
All Cum Gpa: 3.79</p>

<p>Before I graduated on 7/30/11 my in-major gpa was on my transcript now I look at my unofficial transcript and it only show:</p>

<p>AA MDC CUM GPA: 3.79
ALL CUM GPA: 3.79</p>

<p>Do colleges for transfer students coming from a CC don't care about in-major gpa or has it simply always been YOUR OVERALL gpa listed on your transcript?</p>

<p>Your overall GPA is the only thing listed on the transcript. Rest assured though, that the college you’re applying for does care about your GPA in the prerequisites. In many cases, they care more about that than the overall GPA.</p>
