In my case, SAT or SAT subject tests?

Hello. I need some advice based on whether I should take the SAT or SAT subject tests on November 5. I have already taken the SAT one time on May, 2011, but wasn't satisfied with my score (1860). I wasn't able to take it again on October, and so now I have to either take the SAT II's or the regular SAT in november, because I won't be able to take the other by December as my first two deadlines (UVA and W&M) are January 1st. UVA requires at least two subject tests, however the other colleges that I'm applying to do not require them, but I realize it wouldn't hurt to take them anyways. If I don't take the SAT II's I can't apply to UVA, yet if I don't take the SAT reasoning again it hurts my chances for the other 5 colleges I'm applying to (and I'm obviously not guaranteed to get into UVA).

Other colleges I'm applying to include Virginia Tech and JMU. If it helps, I'm in the top 10% of my class, have a 4.1 GPA, received 5's on both my AP's last year, taking 4 AP's this year, I have very little EC's unfortunately but still some, I'm a minority, received an 1860 for the SAT, and will be a first generation college student. So what should I do? Re take the regular SAT or take the SAT subject tests?
