In my case, should I apply EA or RD?

Hi All
Im considering applying to MIT, however, as of now I am not too thrilled about where my scores are at. As of now I have a 1440 on the SAT1, and a 790 and 650 on SATII Math and Physics respectively. I plan on retaking my SAT1 this October, when I would receive my scores back before the EA deadline, however, if I am to do that I will not have time to retake physics. With that in mind, do you think it would be best for me to apply EA, with a potentially higher SAT1 and a low SATII in physics, or should I apply RD, in which I may achieve higher scores but will be set in a larger applicant pool? Do you think MIT values SATIs over SATIIs, or would you say they are about equal?

Side note: Even if I were to be deferred, I check the MIT statistics for the last few years and noticed the acceptance rate of the deferred students is slightly less than that of RD students

It would be wonderful to get a response from a MIT rep and/or student, but advice from anyone would still be helpful

What’s your math score for the 1440? Any ACT scores?

I got a 760 on math, and I have taken the act with a 35 math score but a 30 composite  (don’t plan on submitting)
