In my college personal statement what excuse should I give for my HUGE drop in grades

What should be my excuse for my huge grade drop? Truth be told it was because I just got annoyed and lazy. Basically "Senioritis" in Junior year.

I was a 4.0 student from the 6th grade until the end of the 10th grade. I always took whatever honors/advanced classes offered.

This year, as a Junior, I took 3 AP's and 1 Honors class.

First semester I received 4 B's and 2 A's.

This semester I currently have a C in math and am trying hard to raise it to a B. (It might seem strange but 75% of the class actually has a C as well.) If everything goes right I should end up with 2 B's this time and 4-5 A's.

My cumulative unweighted GPA including Freshman year is a 3.875

Oh, and if I get 5's on all my AP tests and sign up for a challenging schedule next year will it help my situation?

Man, I had senioritis every year starting second semester of Freshman year. It was rough, I tell ya’.

If you’re looking for an easy lie, tell them a grandparent died. Your favorite Gram ma Sue who baked you sugar cookies just how you liked, and always gave you the best holiday present ever. The two of you were very close, so the death left you emotionally unstable and wouldn’t allow you to concentrate on your work.

Man, I had terrible grades for at least four semesters, I should have used every-already-dead Grandparent.
