I write for fun and then try to get the pieces published. Since 7th grade, I have published about 14 pieces in various anthologies and the local newspaper, "The Burlington Free Press."

I feel unprepared for Wharton. What else can I do in the next year in order to improve my chances? Also, what sat II's should I take? Thanks for the input!

why do u want business? the thing is, u should know what to do 4 wharton b/c if business is yr passion, u should already be showing a passion 4 it, which isn’t evident. u might want 2 make sure u want business b/c ppl at wharton know they want to be businessmen and women and what u do to show wharton that should come from u.

^ isn’t it supposed to be true that you don’t necessarily have to have shown intense business interest to get into wharton, just excel at what you do and be passionate about something? i could be wrong but i was under that impression.

^ no, i thought that too. i want to do business b/c i am into stocks and wish to major in finance. i tried getting internships at banks in my area but my area is small so none of the companies actually have that sort of thing. i am thinking to apply to some business programs for next summr. what might you suggest?

Penn has these programs, you might want to look around for others.

anyone else? i would really appreciate some more comments/criticism.

yr more well-rounded. u might like cas b/c that’s for more renaissance ppl. ap econ but so? try asking yrself why u want wharton b/c yr record doesn’t show why u would be interested in business. and how you’ll show that really must come from u.

thanks, i’ll think about that.
also, what exactly is cas?
