Ive done sports, been in clubs and have almost 100 hours of communite service and ive been in AVID for 4 year if that does any good. Also have passed APUSH and AP Lang Exams and will be take 4 AP this year.

I want to get chanced for:

UCR
UCM
UCSC

SFSU
Cal Poly Pomona
University of Arizona
University of Oregon
Arizona State University
Oregon State

And fill free to recommend some, it would be great if you did
Also ill chance back!

Hmmm. I don’t know much about these schools but I’d say you have a solid shot at ASU.

Anybody???

You need to calculate your UC GPA. For consideration at any UC from in state, you need a minimum UC GPA of 3.0. Almost all who have that get into Merced and most into UCR. SC probably won’t happen here.

For CSUs, your best shot is going to be the one you live in the service are for. The CSUs are now giving extreme preeference to their ‘locals.’

You look fine for Arizona and Arizona State, Oregon is a reach. Be prepared to pay full OOS costs with these stats however.

Thank you and actually UC’s have been accepting people with GPA’s under a 3.0. UCSB accpeted 51 last year which was said them. Yeah i know OOS costs are going to be killer, but i guess thats what happens when you slack off on homework.

There are few who get in using ‘examination alone’, but it’s getting very rare and it’s not happeninng with a 1800.

I’m guessing those 52 at SB are what’s known as impact athletes.

[University of California - Admissions](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman.html)

3.0 of higher doesnt take place until Fall of 2012.

and the test score where without studying and ive been studying for them this time around so i wonder what will get if a studied when i got a 1790 without studying and thanks for the help btw.

You’re right, technically it’s still 2.8.

Yeah and im almost a 2.8, but i wish i didnt slack off my 3 year in HS. Test scores are good but they are useless with my crappy GPA.
