Do you guys think a decent verbal score (700+) and a 4 in AP Eng. can cover for my ehhhh...exceedingly low writing score (600+)? I immigrated to the US when I was 9, so, not my first language...but still...I am so frustrated. And I am rushing it to Penn (ED) Wharton. Am I done for?

If you got a 600+ writing score, you need to retake it. That score is just not good. Get PR's book, study and retake.

Don't rush your application for ED if it's not strong. It won't help.

But it's a requirement for Penn....I don't think I have a choice do I?

My ED app is actually pretty strong over all...other SATII scores are all 700+. Valedictorian of my class. Blah blah blah...so, should I not opt for rush reporting?

Need Feedback. Bump!

You don't have a choice about what?? Retake the test. Your score is a problem.

dude, chill. I applied to Penn with a Writing score of 610 and got admitted. Bear in mind that my sat score was 1380. I did however get into SEAS (Engineering) in Penn, which I didn't go to :)

That's so good to hear. Did you apply as a legacy? Or anything...i.e. You uncle donated a building to Penn...:) But, yea, I am crossin' my fingers. Still feel like cryin'.
