In need of major help (transfer)

I posted this earlier, but just thought I would again for some background info.

I currently go to University of Houston and at the end of my first year i'll for sure(predicting) have a 4.0 or a 3.9 GPA at the least. Plenty of extra-curriculars and about 33 hours. Only thing holding me back is my high school record. 1030/1600 SAT, 3.2/4.0 GPA, and top 34%. Haven't taken any SAT 2 subject tests or AP classes in high school. Altough high school record is bad, college record is really great. Let me know if yall think I got a chance to transfer into Columbia. Thanks yall! Extra curriculars include. Manager of a store, manager of computer resources, high school basketball, track and cross country, MSA, head counselor for a camp in '05 and '06, VP of a youth club. Is it worth applying or do I have no chance at all?

Im not sure, but I think Cornell offers an international relations program, would that be hard to transfer in to? Also, if I apply for transfer to Cornell, should I consider applying for an easier major such as agriculture or something of that nature? Do I have any chances?

switch the "Columbia" to "Cornell" already...i remember your post.

if you can retake the SATs you'd have a shot but otherwise, i'm not so sure. the grades in hs, w.e because you've proven yourself in college. however, the sats are still impt. i'd say retake them and do your best and apply to Cornell & Columbia.

CALS is easier to transfer into than CAS, so yes.
