In need of more colleges for my list...

Which colleges do you think I should add to my list?

Cornell U
Northwestern
NYU- Stern
CMU
UVA
U Mich
Wash U
Vtech

If you're really sure of being a business major (as I take it from having Stern on your list) maybe check out Babson? I know nothing about it though, other than that it's business-oriented. Maybe George Washington, it seems like you're going to urban rather than not.

my interests: engineering, economics, and finance.

but i dont care about the business school itself. as long as im receiving well-rounded education, either of the three will help take me where i want to be.

If a well-rounded education is what you're looking for, you might want to look up some of the Liberal Arts Colleges that have engineering. I know of Union, Lehigh, and Swarthmore off the top of my head, and I think a bunch of the Eastern PA ones also have it (Lafayette, etc.)
Of course, you haven't given any information regarding desired setting, orgeographics, size, politics, etc., and those are important as well as strengths in your intended concentrations.

Try Duke as a reach school, as there are many opportunities that match your interests. They have a strong engineering school, and you can still take courses in outside departments such as economics. If you prefer business, there is an interdepartmental minor (certificate) program called "Markets and Management Studies." In this program, you can take various courses in finance, economics, and other departments such as psychology. Log onto their website, www.markets.duke.edu, for more information.
