In need of serious advice

I'm just wondering what colleges I should apply to if I want to major in Physician Assistance. A lot of school I know does not offer a combined program. Therefore I know I have to major in biological science and then go for the masters degree in PA.

My question is what colleges/universities should I apply to? My counselor told me my GPA is 4.0 (I am not sure whether its weighed or not) and my class rank is 27 out of ~800. My ACT score is a 28 (not great but decent enough?).

Thank you !

I think you mean Physician Assistant. :)

well lol I’m not even sure whether to use assistant or assistance cause according to the collegeboard assistance is the major and assistant is the profession.

Yeah thanks for the list, but I came across it a few months back. The program is most of the schools on that list offer the masters program and not the b.s./m.s. combined one, which meant I had to major in a science before I can apply for it.

but thank you for the list nonetheless. I appreciate it a great deal. :]

I’m thinking that UAB might have the combo program. Let me see if I can negotiate their website and find out.

I can’t find a combo program at UAB (but that doesn’t mean they don’t have one. LOL)

What I keep finding is Surgical Physician Assistant (SPA), but I don’t think that’s the same (or maybe I’m wrong?

BTW…do you have AP credits, if so, you could graduate early perhaps to more quickly move into a PA program.

Yes I do have AP credits. I passed the World History, U.S. History, Physics exams. Currently I’m taking AP Biology and BC Calculus.

Thank you for your time. :]

Some to possibly check into are Rutgers, Quinnipiac (CT), Marquette, Seton Hall, RIT and Duquesne.
