THE SAT STAND-BY OPTION
Missed the registration date for the next SAT?
If you missed the date for registration of the next SAT test date, you can attempt to take the test
on stand-by. Prospective stand-by test takers must fill in the mail registration form available in
the middle of SAT Bulletin, noting the standby option, and bring it to the test venue the morning of
the test date, with the fee as detailed below.
An additional stand-by fee of $30 must be included with the $28.50 test fee and $17 international
processing fee payment in the envelope provided. The total cost for standby, therefore, is
$75.50, payable in bank draft form only.

Definitely go standby...if you can get in...there's no guarantee. You've got to show up fairly early, and if you can, take it at your school (if its offered there.) Through they're not supposed to, they may give their own students some preference in getting in standby.

standby is the way to go....

btw: Most schools will accept October scores for EA, ED.
