In need of some advice

<p>Hey, I need some help. I applied early decision to Dartmouth, which obviously, I got deferred, but I wanted to try because I have always wanted to go there. Now I am trying to find some other colleges to apply to, but I don't really know what my chances are.</p>

<p>1310 SATs
710 Math
600 Verbal
4.1 GPA weighted, top 20% of class
(Extremely competitive high school)</p>

<p>Class President, Student Council, Orchestra, School Musical, 3 Varsity sports (Volleyball, Basketball, Track), NHS, Head of Schools Community Service Department, School Newspaper, Spanish Club</p>

<p>Do I have a chance at Lehigh, Wake Forest, UNC, Davidson, Hopkins, American, and Villanova? Are there any other schools that you would suggest applying to?</p>

<p>I'd say your chances are very good for American (safety), Villanova and Lehigh. Wake Forest and Davidson are probably good matches as well. Hopkins, UNC (out of state) should be considered reaches. You might want to take a look at some other PA LAC's like Dickinson, Lafayette, Muhlenberg, Gettysburg, and Franklin & Marshall. Possibly even Bucknell. I'd say they'd all be matches/safeties. Good luck!</p>

<p>I'm with Carolyn on the Pa. LAC suggestions. I suspect that Davidson would be a bit of a reach though.</p>
