<p>obsessed with both NYU and Oberlin, if anyone would like to comment on my chances at either school, that would be phenomenal (also like Washington U. in St. Louis, Wesleyan, Vassar, Tulane, Skidmore..any thoughts?)</p>

<p>junior at 2nd best public high school in my state
GPA (weighted): 4.2 (significant upward trend throughout highschool....3.98 frosh year, 3.98 soph year, 4.65 so far for junior year)
SAT I's: have yet to take the march exams, expecting 700's-720's in writing and verbal, 650-700 in math
SAT II's: Literature (700) - plan to retake, Math (expecting a 650-700), Biology (expecting a 700-760)
honor roll every term of every year
Ap's - junior year: Bio, so far have an A- in the course
taking next year: AP Psych, Ap Calc (AB)
--Taking College Credit Photography course/workshop at Wellesley College (summer 2005)</p>

-- already spoken to my two honors-level teachers that will be writing my recomendations, both will be writing me excellent recomendations</p>

<p>-i have a passion for photography and have had a lot of my work displayed/published, recieved an A+ in every photo course taken, am planning on sending a portfolio of my work, possibly including paintings i did in a honors level art course at my school</p>

9th grade: honors english, math, spanish
10th grade:honors english, art, math, ss
11th grade: (aside from AP bio) honors english, math
12th grade: (aside from AP Psych and AP Calc) i will be taking honors english, honors theory of knowledge, and honors shakespeare
(any of my 5 majors not listed for the year were taken at normal level for that year)</p>

<p>If you can get a 1400 on your SATs, I like your chances at all the schools on your wish list. A 1300+ would give you a chance at all of them really. You have a great bunch of schools there. Good luck.</p>

<p>awwww ok, sorry last addition to my credentials.....just so you all know, a 4.2 weighted GPA at my school means that i have approx. a B+ average on an honor's level scale</p>
